Qatargas recently recognised 677 employees at the annual Long Service Award and Shukran Award Ceremony. The Long Service Award recognises employees for their dedicated long-term service to the Company, and the Shukran Award recognises outstanding achievements by Qatargas employees.

Commenting on the Long Service Awards, Khalid Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Chief Executive Officer, Qatargas, said: “It is a great pleasure to congratulate all of you who are here to receive the Shukran Award. Qatargas has a rich history of recognising exceptional performance, and I am delighted to present this award in recognition of your outstanding contribution towards achieving the Company’s business goals. I would also like to take this opportunity to say my personal ‘shukran’ to all of you, and encourage you to keep up this high level of performance. I would also like to congratulate all of you who have received a Long Service Award. This award is a reflection of your hard work, professionalism and valued contribution, all of which has been instrumental in making Qatargas what it is today – the World’s Premier LNG Company.”

During the ceremony, 179 Qatargas employees received the Shukran Award in recognition of their exceptional performance in 2016.  In addition, 498 employees received a Long Service Award in acknowledgement of their service and contribution to the success of Qatargas over the years.
